Maxaloones
I found these adorable leggings and back in the spring I bought the pattern from Max & Meena on Etsy. I FINALLY got to sewing them together and I wish I hadn't waited so long because I LOVE them!!
I am now an approved Maxaloone creator, so if you are looking for some leave a comment :)

Broadway Nails imPRESS Press-on Manicure
I have always had long nails but never painted them. I hated how fast they would chip and I then would be back to square one. Lets be honest, I am LAZY, especially when it comes to painting my nails. I like they way they look 2 minutes after they are done but then life happens... So, over the years I am always looking for alternatives to painted nails, one of them being the #imPressManicure by Broadway. They are super easy to use and take no time to apply. These would be great for a quick change for a special night or any day to change things up. Its great they come in so many colors and patterns.
Note: I received the Voxbox #imPressManicure complimentary for testing purposes from Influenster.

End of May??!?
Hahaha!! Welcome to LIFE :) I just found this draft, just to give you an idea to how fast life has been these days.. It is most definitely June and almost the middle of June, but TWO more days and we own a house!!
Well... it has been months :(
I can't believe how fast life goes and how busy I seem to be now that I am back at work full time. I'm not sure how I used to make so much time so for many hobbies. Anyways... life has gotten busy.
This past Friday we celebrated Jamies Birthday, which means mines on Tuesday... didn't I just celebrate one of these? Right! One year ago.. man time flies when you're having fun.
We just signed papers on our very first home. We are moving to Okotots.. increasing the commute in a way I never said I would, but I am really excited for this new chapter in our lives.
There will be many new projects just ahead. :)

Washing Your Washing Machine
I was ever-so-lucky- to receive a apartment sized washer and dryer for Christmas right after my daughter was born... LIFE SAVER!!! I wasn't aware how much laundry I would be doing with a newborn and the thought of hauling it up and down the 2 flights of stairs just to do it was not happening.
I have been using it for just over a year now and decided that it is time to clean the thing... Kind of a strange concept.. cleaning the washing machine... but it needs to be done!
I found this great blog over at onegoodthingbyjillee.com which was exactly what I needed.
The steps I followed are:
1. Fill washer with HOT water.
2. Add 1L of bleach
3. Let agitate for 1 minute
4. Let HOT water and bleach sit in washer for 1 hour.
5. Run the longest cycle with Bleach water.
6. Fill washer with HOT water and Add 1L of white vinegar
7. Let agitate for 1 minutes.
8. Let HOT water and vinegar sit for 1 hour.
9. Run through one more time.
That's it! It is a little time consuming, in the sense that it just sits for a couple hours but this will refresh your washer and make it ready for all the dirt and grim we put into it :)
